Altshuler Shaham is a well-recognized sponsor of Israeli sports, through its sponsorship of teams and individual athletes in various types of sports, as well as in cooperation with various entities that promote sports in Israel.
The activity began in 2005, with the first sponsorship of the Galil Elyon basketball team. This was followed by various other sponsorships: Main sponsorship of the Israel National soccer team and soccer team Hapoal Katamon, as well as the Hapoel Rishon LeZion volleyball team, Hapoel Beer Sheva - Bnei Shimon in basketball and “Alley Athletes” track and field athletes. We believe in educating teenagers and children through sports and therefore support the Maccabi Netanya soccer team and the Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Rehovot basketball teams. We also support individual leading athletes: Yarden Gerbi - judo, Moran Samuel and Danny Friedman - rowing, Gal Nevo - swimming, Hanna Knyazyeva-Minenko - triple jump, and Natalie Reitz - artistic gymnastics.
As a leading player in the Israeli capital market, we identify with the values that characterize competitive sports, including: investment, perseverance, striving for excellence, competitiveness, fair play, and sportsmanship. These values were the basis for our sponsorship slogan of the Israeli national soccer team: Play. Enjoy. Win. Which is in line with the Company slogan:

In addition to sponsoring individual athletes, we support the "Values in Sport" NGO, whose objective is to improve the sportsmanship in Israel, reduce violence in the field/court and help young athletes by improving their achievements in other areas of life. This is done by imparting leadership values and practical self-improvement tools among youth teams.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate all of the numerous requests we receive. We will continue to support, encourage and assist Israeli sports, with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to see Israeli athletes succeed on and off the field, and help improve and promote sportsmanship in Israel.
